CASSOPOLIS/VANDALIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Pure Michigan Small Business Relief Initiative

MEDC is planning to provide $10 million in grants to support local small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Eligible businesses can receive up to $15,000 for payroll expenses, rent or mortgage payments, and utility expenses.
This is a first-come, first-serve grant. This means that timely completion of the application is of the upmost importance. Given the limited funds, you will want to be ready to apply for the grant as soon as it opens on December 15, 2020.
We have compiled a guide to help you prepare for the application process. Although the exact information required on this grant application is unknown, we expect this application to be similar to others we have seen in the past. Building on our own experience, we have developed a list of information that is likely to be required and that we would suggest you compile prior to applying for this grant. Our list of suggested materials and other information relevant to the application process is attached.
If you have questions about the grant, the application process, or grant eligibility requirements, we would encourage you to review MEDC’s program guide at: https://www.michiganbusiness.org/relief/
